Stay in surroundings reminiscent of the early days of the Hobart Town settlement. Built in 1890, this lovingly restored classic example of early Victorian architecture oozes charm and warm hospitality, offering a taste of yesteryear but renovated with convenience and the traveller's comfort in mind as well as being pet-friendly. Featuring stained glass windows and furnished with antique pieces and collectables, this cosy self-contained accommodation offers a living and dining room, double bedroom, separate bathroom and a private courtyard. The cottage is ideally suited for a couple but arrangements can be made for extra people. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with all the modern conveniences so it's just like a home away from home.
Start the day with local free range eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, Tasmanian fruits, yoghurt and juice. Help yourself to tea and coffee provisions. Also provided are home-made goodies like jams, cakes and slices. Rates are for the whole cottage and are based on twin share. A double sofa-bed is also available for extra persons. Rover stays for free! Included in the tariff is a sumptuous platter consisting of local free range eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, Tasmanian fruits, yoghurt, juice, port and chocolates, home-made jams, cakes and slices. Breakfast provisions can be adapted to suit your needs, and with the cottage being fully self-contained, can be enjoyed at your leisure.
