Gattonside is situated on Sandy Bay Road, on the fringe of the city and historic Battery Point is in the immediate vicinity. A short three minutes stroll takes you to the restaurant strip in Hampden Road and Salamanca Place. It is the perfect place to base yourself while exploring the surrounding areas such as the Huon and Derwent Valley, Mount Wellington, the Tasman Peninsula, Richmond and Bruny Island.
Getting There:
From the Tasman Bridge, stay in the far left lane and follow it on to Davey Street. At St. Davids Park turn left from Davey Street into Sandy Bay Road and then drive approximately 500 metres and turn right into Gattonside.
