Bonnie Brae Lodge is a 4 bedroom single storey federation era house, built of timber and sandstone in 1905, on a large gently sloping block with an outlook over farm land to St Peter's Church (c1834), hills and distant mountains.

Substantial refurbishing has recently been completed.

The house is sunny, warm, clean and attractively set up as a self contained holiday home, fully furnished and equipped for comfortable visitor accommodation for up to 10 people, for days at a time.

The kitchen is a good size and fully equipped for preparing meals, It is fitted with electric hot plates, a wall oven, microwave oven, a large fridge, kettle, toaster, pots pans and crockery and more. The bathroom has a deep bath plus a separate shower and a vanity unit. Rate includes a range and quantity of breakfast provisions (including local free range eggs), plus other kitchen and laundry provisioning and a number of other extras and bonuses (including free internet access).
