Close to Cradle Mountain, Lemonthyme Lodge is an Award Winning Wilderness Resort with a difference. Verging on Tasmania's World Heritage Wilderness the Lodge is a boutique wilderness Resort hideaway, tucked away in a temperate rain forest. Lemonthyme Lodge is the largest "real" Log Cabin in the Southern Hemisphere. The Lodge is nestled amongst pristine temperate rainforest on a valley side just above Lake Cethana. Large Man Ferns throw out their fonds in a gesture of welcome to all visitors. The atmosphere of informality and friendliness is apparent as soon as you walk through the door and greeted by reception staff. The accommodation offered appeals to all styles of budgets from private bedrooms in the main lodge with shared toilet and bathroom facilities, 2 bedroom cabins, One bedroom tree top tub or spa cabins and our latest addition, the Luxury Wilderness Spa cabins. All are furnished with either Huon Pine or Black-heart Sassafras.

The 1 bedroom spa cabins are built on top of large tree poles to elevate the rear balcony to take full advantage of the wonderful views. The Tree Top Spa cabin has been designed to create the relaxing enjoyment of life in the tree tops. Enjoy a luxury spa bath after a days relaxing in the wilderness. All cabins come with a roomy bathroom and a protected balcony. If required a roll-in bed can be requested to accommodate an extra adult or child. Please make sure you note on your booking your requirements.

Stay in the largest log cabin in the Southern Hemisphere. The Lodge rooms comprise of a one bedroom room with a double bed and bunks. We wish to advise that our Lodge rooms are located above the Restaurant in the Main Building and have Shared Bathroom & Toilet Facilities. We class them as cosy and there is very little sound insulation between rooms, meaning that Guests can hear people talking in the Lodge and neighbouring rooms.
