Casa Verde Alpine Retreat sits on its own; a cosy, spacious, fully self-contained alpine villa set on 4.5 acres of private forest deep in the heart of the splendid Cradle Mountain wilderness region. It's just the place for you to relax, unwind, and take time out of a busy world.
Casa Verde Alpine Retreat sleeps up to 6 people. The spacious bedroom has comfortable queensize bed overlooking your own private forest. Two double bed-sofa beds in the living area can accommodate 2 other couples or an extra 2 people. The elegant Oriental flavour of the bedroom decor creates a feeling of serenity and peacefulness. You can snuggle in bed and gaze out into the tranquil forest where you can observe the variety of birdlife welcoming the day.

Casa Verde Alpine Reteat is just a 20 minute drive away from the spectacular Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park.
There are dozens of short and long walks and hikes throughout this unique area. The most popular is the superb boardwalked 6km track around Dove Lake which takes you directly under Cradle Mountain. You will see prime examples of a variety of native flora as you wander through different mini ecosystems, each responding in its own way to the extremeties of this harsh alpine climate.
Experienced bushwalkers come to Cradle to walk the famous Overland Track where you can spend days traversing the many trails or maybe just a one day hike is all you have time for.
