Walls of Jerusalem

The Walls of Jerusalem are a natural feature in the Walls of Jerusalem National Park about 30 kilometres south of Mole Creek. The walls of dolerite cliffs surround a valley creating a visually stunning environment. The dolerite cliffs were formed by the movement of ice through the landscape over 100,000 years ago.

No roads enter the Walls of Jerusalem area. This inaccessibility helps maintain the area’s wilderness and makes it popular with experienced bushwalkers in summer and cross-country skiers in winter.
