About Cradle Mountain:
Cradle Mountain National Park is arguably the most breathtaking national park in the whole of Tasmania. It can also be argued to be up there with the best national parks in the whole of Australia. It is home to one of the most famous walking trails in Australia – the Overland Track. Some other notable features are Cradle Mountain and Barn Bluff in the northern end, Mount Pelion East, Mount Pelion West, Mount Oakleigh and Mount Ossa in the middle and Lake St Clair in the southern end of the park.
