Stay in one of eight pavilions dedicated to Australian artists and architects who have influenced MONA. They are bold and elegant in design and feature bespoke furniture by Tasmanian designers, along with a who’s who in international furniture pieces.

Three are glass cubes that appear balanced in the landscape; one is a three-storey diamond shaped building enclosed in a silver metallic skin; and the remaining four cantilever over the river bank. You can choose from one or two bedroom configurations.
All pavilions offer spa bath and king-size bed.
Guests also have access to the sauna, gymnasium and heated lap pool.

Please note that from Tuesday the 26th of July and for every Tuesday onwards the Mona gallery and it’s services on site will be closed, however breakfast will be available in The Source restaurant for our pavilion guests and alternate dining options for dinner will also be available.

Are you looking to go on a Tasmania fly drive holiday? There isn’t anything easier as Tasmania is set up perfectly for this kind of holiday. For extensive information on how to <a href="http://www.booktasmaniaaccommodation.com.au/blog/fly-to-tasmania/"title="Fly to Tasmania" >fly to Tasmania click the link just mentioned. The short version is that there are regular services from a number of low cost carriers flying in several times a day to both Launceston and Hobart.

Once you touch down in Tassie, there are a number of the leading car rental companies to choose from including the likes of Thrifty, Europcar, Vroom Vroom Vroom, Budget, Avis and Hertz to name just the usual suspects right in the airports. As you can see from the <a href="http://www.booktasmaniaaccommodation.com.au/blog/map-of-tasmania/"title="Map of Tasmania" >map of Tasmania‘s highways, getting around the island is really easy as it is serviced by a number of highways.

Many travellers and tourists will decide to travel around the island in a circular route. Say you fly in to Hobart (browse Hobart accommodation) you then might decide to go around the island in a clockwise direction through Lake St Clair to Strahan in the west. From Strahan you could then head east stopping in Cradle Mountain (browse Cradle Mountain accommodation) towards Tasmania’s oldest city Launceston (browse Launceston accommodation). From Launceston you could head further east to St Helens and then south to Freycinet and eventually end up back in Hobart to fly home.

Would you Prefer to Drive your own Car?

There is another way to see Tasmania than a Tasmania fly drive holiday. If you have your own car and would like to experience Tasmania in it, you can alternatively get the car <a href="http://www.booktasmaniaaccommodation.com.au/blog/ferry-to-tasmania/"title="Ferry to Tasmania" >ferry to Tasmania known as the Spirit of Tasmania.

September is a great time to visit Tasmania as the weather is warming up and baby animals are everywhere! Strahan is a great place to get close to nature; you can immerse yourself in the rainforest, see stunning waterfalls and see little penguins at a remote island at the mouth of Macqaurie Harbour. West coast Tasmania has so much to offer and if you stay in Strahan accommodation it gives you the ideal base to go exploring.

Alternatively, if you want the best of two worlds, nature and city life, then Hobart accommodation is probably a better idea. Hobart is actually in easy distance to Southwest National park where you can see sandy beaches, snow capped mountain tops – you can even do over night walks if you have the energy! Hobart is a beautiful city and it is packed with fun activities including historic sites, sailing trips and ghost tours!

Finally summer is here, it’s one of our favorite times to holiday in Tasmania. Tasmania is packed with amazing sights and natural wonders as well as some very unique Tasmania accommodation to make your holiday a one-off experience. Tasmania has something for everyone, fun, relaxing, luxury, nature and beauty. Here are a few of our favorite places and things to do to help you decide!……

The Falls Festival is coming up and it’s a massive event in Tasmania so if you are planning on going book a flights and accommodation in Tasmania early as it gets booked out quickly. It’s a 2 day festival with local and international bands and DJ’s from 30th – 31st December. We can book your Tasmania accommodation and cater for have a range of different accommodation types for different budgets from Tasmania bed & breakfasts to luxury Tasmania hotels.

If you prefer a laid back break and a whole lot of relaxation then Wineglass Bay in Eastern Tasmania (about 100km from Hobart) is well worth a visit, the area is rich in wildlife including reptiles and sea life. It’s a beautiful day out and there are stunning bay views. You could stay locally, alternatively you could stay in Hobart accommodation and visit on a day trip.

Strahan is another place not to be missed, if you’re a nature lover then this place will be perfect for you as there are large areas of rainforest and some incredible landscapes and our Strahan accommodation is the ideal place a bit of tranquility and replenishing!

Cradle Mountain is probably our top pick as there is so much to see and it’s a great place if you’re an explorer like me! There are lakes, mountains, caves, deep gorges and Tasmania’s best know national park. Plus there is some of the most distinctive Tas accommodation, like Springfield Deer Farm, it is the ultimate Cradle Mountain accommodation with stunning views and deer on your doorstep!

No holiday is complete without a little bit of luxury! 41 on York is first class Launceston accommodation. It’s a luxury apartment that just so happens to be next door to the Roman baths and a day spa – who could resist!
